Is this you?
If your evenings look a bit like this, Ember Nights was made for you:
Sat in front of the telly, not really watching it
Standing in the kitchen with no idea what's for tea, because you used up every decision you had by lunchtime
Staying up far too late, because it's the only bit of the day that feels like yours
Wired and tired, every single night
Fancying a bit of community, without any pressure to perform
Curious about hypnotherapy, and keen to try it before thinking about 1:1 sessions
I know, because that used to be me. What I actually wanted was a hot chocolate, my feet up, and somewhere to properly switch off for a bit. So I made it.
Ember Nights isn't group therapy.
It's a cosy hour of simple brain science, a bit of guided journalling, and a relaxing guided hypnosis to finish. You don't have to talk, share or be "good" at relaxing. You just have to turn up.
What a night looks like
Log in with your brew, in your cosiest clothes. A quick hello, with absolutely no going round the room - no awkward icebreakers here.
7PM
One simple idea about why your brain does what it does, explained with stories, not jargon. A few gentle journalling prompts in your notebook. Sharing is always optional.
A little science &
something just for you.
Guided Hypnosis
About 20 minutes to lie back and listen. If you drift off, that's absolutely fine. 8pm finish and back to your evening routine.
The four evenings
12th November - Settling in
Noticing what's been good, and why your brain makes that harder than it should be.

26th November - Building confidence
Quietening the inner critic and backing yourself a little more
3rd December - Keeping the ember lit
Building your own small routine to take into December and beyond

Meet Neesa
I'm a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist based in Bristol (Clifton), working online too. I'm accredited with the AfSFH and registered with the CNHC. I've also spent 13 years designing adult learning, so I'm good at making brain science feel simple, and a bit fun too.
My sessions are known for being cosy, and a bit silly in places because our brains can be pretty weird. I pride myself on providing a safe space and sessions my clients actually look forward to.
Ember Nights brings that same feeling to a small group.

Yes. Cameras stay on, because it keeps the group safe for everyone. Don't worry, everyone else is in their cosy wears on the sofa too.

Not at all. You're awake and aware the whole time, just very relaxed. If the doorbell went, you'd hear it and could get up.

No. It's a relaxing group evening with some simple brain science, journalling and a guided hypnosis. If you'd like to work on something specific, 1:1 sessions are available too.

Absolutely, you're very welcome. Nobody in the group will know we've worked together unless you choose to mention it, and I won't bring up anything from our sessions. If you're seeing me 1:1 at the moment, Ember Nights works nicely as an extra cosy evening each week. It won't replace or change our sessions.
-
Yes. Fidget, doodle, lie on the floor. Come exactly as you are.
